Orchard View Community Education offers many adult learning opportunities for individuals who wish to improve language, reading, writing, mathematical or computer skills. Many would like to complete their high school diploma or receive their GED. They may be in need of need of learning to read, write and speak the English Language, or would like to take part in Certified Nurses Aide Training.

- Adult Basic Education
The Adult Basic Education program is for anyone wishing to improve language arts reading and writing, spelling and mathematical skills. The program is FREE for those who qualify. All materials are provided. Classes are individualized in a learning center environment and are offered mornings.
- Adult High School Completion
The Adult High School Completion program offers students, 18 years of age and older, an opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Students must have earned ten (10) credits prior to enrollment. The Adult High School Completion classroom is individualized in a learning center environment. The program is adult oriented; instructors are highly qualified.
- GED Certificate-Preparation Classes and Testing Centers
Orchard View Community Education is a state approved GED testing site. Testing is by appointment only. There is a $40.00 per test ($200.00 total for all 5 tests) charge for students not enrolled in GED preparation classes. Registrations for "walk-in" testing appointments are made through the Orchard View Community Education office.
- ESL-English as a Second Language
English as a Second Language and EL-Civics help non-English speaking persons read, write and speak the English language. Late morning and afternoon classes meet at the Orchard View Workforce Development Center. They are held Monday through Thursday with a highly qualified instructor. The program is FREE and all materials are provided. Citizenship information is incorporated into the instructional materials.
- Certified Nurses Aide Training
This state-approved 6-week daytime or 12-week evening program has been developed in cooperation with and endorsed by nursing home facilities and home health care agencies in the Muskegon area. Those students completing the program are eligible and qualified to take the State Nurse Aide Competency Exam and Home Health Care Exam. They will participate in classroom lecture, lab work, and on-the-job clinical training at an area nursing home facility
